B.A. in Economics

To graduate with a B.A. in Economics from Carnegie Mellon, students must fulfill the requirements of the Undergraduate Economics Program, the general education requirements of  the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and all University requirements.  The curriculum listed below is the most recent;   students are responsible for meeting the requirements listed in the Carnegie Mellon Course Catalogue of their entering year. Advanced Economic Electives
Students must take four advanced economics elective courses. Advanced elective courses are those courses numbered 73-300 through 73-495, as well as courses designated by the Undergraduate Economics Program which are offered by other departments/programs. Additionally, students may work with their advisor to structure a set of courses to meet these requirements based on their particular interests, subject to course availability.
