Etiquette Dinner
The Undergraduate Business Etiquette Dinner took place on October 12, 2007 at The Sheraton Station Square. Students rode Molly’s Trolleys to the event and brushed up on their business etiquette by learning from the presenter, Susan Timko. Click here for pictures from the event.


Case Competitions
Undergraduate Business Students, Jackie Andreozzi, Jason Hawkins, Christine McGarry, and Trent Sisson competed and won third place in Georgetown University's case competition April 12-14, 2007.

Kevin Mulkern, Lauren Hoffman, Aaron Lewis, and Nathalie Sakimura (BSBA '07) traveled to Los Angeles, CA for the University of Southern California's international case competition February 14-17, 2007.


Scholarships and Competitions
The Undergraduate Marketing Organization attended the American Marketing Association's annual conference in New Orleans, March 28-31, 2007. They won awards for outstanding chapter planning, outstanding communications and revitalized chapter award!

Students In Free Enterprise attended the regional competition in Philadelphia on March 31, 2007. They won awards for their success in: project sustainability, financial literacy, ethics and success skills, as well as regional champions in their league.

Menna Mulugetta and Ramzi Ramsey (BSBA '07) were awarded Student Service honors by Carnegie Mellon Alumni Association, October 2006.


Opportunities Around the World
Nick Basso and Steve Karolyi (BSBA '09) attended the Global Student Investment Forum in Dayton, Ohio, March 29-31, 2007.

Mei Chang (BSBA '09) and Era Singh (BSBA '10) attended the Emory University Undergraduate Business School Leadership Conference, February 1-3, 2007. The conference featured Steven Levitt, author of Freakonomics and John Rice, Vice Chairman of General Electric.

Menna Mulugetta and John Sedunov (BSBA '07) attended the Campus for Finance conference in Germany on January 11-12, 2007, hosted by the Otto Beisheim School of Management. The conference is one of the leading congresses of the international financial community, in terms of both academic excellence and its impact on management thinking. The topic of the conference was "Future of Banking - Between Markets and Institutions."
