Tepper Internal Case Competition

Internal Case Competition

Exchange student Lotem Alon, from Technion, Israel, was one of 20 participants in Tepper School's November 14-15 internal case competition. (See Photo Gallery.) Each year, students team up to develop solutions for a real-life, complex business problem. This year's challenge addressed the decline in passengers and revenue at the Pittsburgh International Airport and the implications for regional economic development. Solutions proposed during final presentations included drilling for natural gas underneath the airport, increasing the number of direct flights from foreign carriers, and others.
